For Jute's December royalty issue I wanted to steer clear from the obvious kings, queens, frivolous gold adornment, and tapestries. Since I gravitate to the color black, I decided to change things up a bit and tap into the yin of my yang, white. White is also the perfect color to represent the cold winter month of December. I honestly didn't know what I would pull for my wardrobe until I found these incredible headdresses and lace masks designed by Folklore Workshop. After that, everything fell into place. It would be a story of a mystical ice queen decked out in exquisite white lace and tulle gowns and decorated in crystals and pearls. | Photographer: Lynzi Judish | Hairstylist: Nicole Higgins | MUA: Jack Gratton
